Day 1 – The Wye Valley & Welsh Coast
Morning Pickup from London
We first pick you up from your London hotel or accommodation. Settle into your private vehicle as you travel west towards the Welsh border.
Stop at Wye Valley
The first stop on your Welsh coast and mountains tour is the Wye Valley. It is a major attraction for its green hills, wooded areas and river views. Take a short walk, stretch your legs and spend some time looking around before continuing the journey.
Continue to Aberystwyth
The road then takes you into Wales towards Aberystwyth. Stop here for lunch and spend some time along the promenade, with views across Cardigan Bay.
Follow the Welsh Coast
After lunch, continue north along the coast. There will be time for photo stops beside beaches, cliffs and open sea views. The scenery gradually changes as you move away from the coast and towards the mountains.
Arrive in Snowdonia
By early evening, the mountain scenery of Snowdonia starts to appear. Continue into the Snowdonia area for your overnight stay.
Day 2 – Snowdonia Peaks, Castles & North Wales Coast
Morning Drive Through Snowdonia
The second day of a 3 day Wales tour is a scenic drive through the mountains. The drive takes you along mountain roads and through high passes, with stops for photographs along the way.
Travel Through Llanberis Pass
Continue through Llanberis Pass, where mountains and rocky slopes surround the road. Take some time to stop, look around and capture photographs before continuing.
Visit Caernarfon Castle
Late morning takes you to Caernarfon Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a notable medieval fortress. Walk around the castle or spend some time in the nearby harbour and historic town.
Continue to Conwy
After lunch, travel along the North Wales coast towards Conwy. Walk through the historic town and see its medieval castle and town walls.
Evening in Llandudno
The day ends in Llandudno, a Victorian seaside resort with a wide promenade and coastal views. Settle in for your overnight stay in the Llandudno area.
Day 3 – Waterfalls, Forest Villages & Return via England
Morning in Betws-y-Coed
The final day of the 3 Day Welsh Coast and Mountains Tour, you will spend in Betws-y-Coed. It is a small village which is covered with forests, rivers and mountain scenery.
Visit a Waterfall
Next, we will visit a nearby waterfall location. Follow the path towards the falls and see the water moving through the rocky gorge.
Begin the Journey Back
After the morning sightseeing, we head back towards London. The route crosses back into England, with time for one final stop along the way.
Final Stop in England
You can stop at either Stratford-upon-Avon or Oxford. Spend some time seeing the town before continuing towards London.
Arrive Back in London
Continue the final drive back to London, arriving in the early evening after three days across the Welsh mountains, coast and countryside.
