Here at Tailored Tours, we value client satisfaction and flexibility above all else. We are a small, independent private tour company based in London, specialising exclusively in bespoke tours that are designed around you — your interests, your pace, and your priorities.

Every tour we offer is entirely customisable. There is no fixed itinerary and no rigid schedule. Whether you want to focus on history, countryside walks, great food, hidden locations, or simply avoid the crowds, we tailor each day to suit your preferences. Our aim is to create thoughtful, well-paced experiences that feel personal rather than packaged.

We take tremendous pride in the quality of both the tours we design and the driver-guides who deliver them. Each guide is carefully selected for their knowledge, professionalism, and ability to bring places to life in a relaxed and engaging way.

Tour Information

All our tours are entirely bespoke. The timings can be amended to your specific needs.

The tour starts and finishes at your hotel / accommodation in Central London. Pick up times are at 07:30am, by default, though actual tour pickup times will be determined by one of our experts. You can amend your departure time upon request, subject to attraction opening times.

Your tour vehicle will be determined by your group size and destinations. Our larger tour vans can hold up to 8 passengers and are fully air-conditioned with climate control that has personalised controls on all 3 rows of seats.

We regularly take groups from 1-8 passengers.
With a private tour, there is no fixed itinerary. You can change your mind on the day of travel if you want to visit an alternative destination or spend more time at one attraction than the other.

All of our tours are private, which means you will have your own expert driver/guide for the day, alongside hotel pickup/drop-off.
N.B. These prices include the rental of the vehicle and services of your tour guide for a 10-hour day tour.
Entrances to tourist attractions you visit are NOT included in this price.

Our Story

Tailored Tours was founded in 2016 by Oliver “Oz” Harris, a highly experienced London-based tour guide with a degree in Ancient and Medieval History and well over a decade of professional guiding all over Europe.

Oz began his career in tourism at just 19 whilst studying history at Royal Holloway University of London. Over the following years, he worked for several of the UK’s leading tour operators, gaining extensive experience delivering day tours, long-distance itineraries, and city experiences.

During this time, it became clear that many traditional tours prioritised schedules and volume over the quality of the experience. Tailored Tours was created to offer something different: private, well-paced tours designed entirely around the guest.

Today, Tailored Tours specialises in bespoke private day tours and cruise transfers from London, delivered by a small team of experienced driver-guides. Every itinerary is carefully planned to suit your interests, timing, and travel style—whether that means avoiding crowds, allowing time for a relaxed lunch, or focusing on fewer destinations in greater depth.

We believe your time is valuable. That’s why our tours are unhurried, flexible, and free from fixed routes or group constraints. With a private tour, you choose where you go, what you see, where you eat, and how long you stay. Rather than rushing through multiple stops, we typically recommend no more than three destinations in a day, allowing each place the time it deserves.
