The Bridgerton Tour

Holburne Museum

1. Wilton House:

Built in 1543 by the 1st Earl of Pembroke, Wilton House is a work of Palladian-style architecture and it has remained in the Pembroke family for 478 years. For Bridgerton, Wilton House was tapped to portray the residences of the Duke of Hastings, Lady Danbury, Queen Charlotte, and the Duke and Duchess of Hastings.

2. Holburne Museum:

Bath’s very own Holburne Museum of Art features as Lady Danbury’s residence. The exterior shots were also used for many of the ball scenes in the earlier part of the series as the characters arrive. This building was originally intended to serve as a residence, but is today dedicated to the art collection of Sir William Holburne.

3. Bath City Centre:

Many market scenes and horse drawn cart backdrops feature the everyday streets of Bath. Bath was entirely rebuilt in the 18th Century down to the work of architecht John Wood, entrepreneur Ralph Allen and Master of Ceremonies ‘Beau’ Nash. One particular square in the heart of the city features in the market scenes of Bridgerton, as well as being the location for the ‘Modiste’ dressmakers.

4. The Royal Crescent:

The iconic Georgian backdrop of the Royal Crescent features in almost every episode of Bridgerton. No. 1 Royal Crescent also serves as a living museum, portraying what one of these Georgian homes would have looked like when it was built 1775. This particular building and the steps leading to the front door features in multiple scenes throughout the series, namely as the Featherington residence.
