COVID-19 UPDATE:

The Spread of Covid-19 has hit the travel industry very hard, but we are here to support our clients in any way we can. We strongly advise anyone who has bookings with us before September 2020 to reschedule their tours. Please refer to Section 6 of our Terms and Conditions for our Cancellation Policy.

We are offering FREE DATE RESCHEDULE ON ALL TOURS UP TO DECEMBER 2021. If you can’t reschedule and wish to cancel your tour, please email [email protected] within 7 days of your tour to receieve a full refund less a 10% administration fee. 1. CONTRACT

By contracting with Tailored Tours you will be accepting these terms and conditions on behalf of yourself and all other persons using our services pursuant to a booking made by you.

2. PAYMENT

Full payment is required at time of booking. We accept payment through all major credit cards. Full payment is required before your booking can be confirmed. 

3. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Relating to the supply of the service to you (The Customer) by Tailored Tours, details of which are set out below.

4. TICKETS

Customer’s purchasing tickets on this website will need to bring a receipt of their booking and show it to the driver/guide at the start of the tour.  The tour will depart at a pre-arranged specified location, set by you (The Customer) in advance.

5. DATE OF DEPARTURE & COLLECTION TIMINGS

These are subject to change or cancellation in the event of unforeseen circumstances occurring. Please ensure you carefully check the details at the time of booking. No refund will be due in the event of the customer providing the wrong collection details. Please ensure that you are at the agreed collection point for your tour at least 10 minutes prior to the departure time.  Even though your tour is privately scheduled, we will have certain attractions to visit, which may need to be pre-booked in advance with a specific entry time. Missing this entry slot could result in a refusal of entry. If this happens as a result of the customer’s delay in departure time, Tailored Tours will not be liable to refund entry costs.

6. CANCELLATIONS

You, the customer, must inform us in writing by email if you wish to cancel a tour with Tailored Tours. Refunds for payments made is subject to our cancellation policy. Cancellation notified 7 days or more prior to the departure date will be fully refunded less a 10% cancellation fee for administration charges. Cancellation notified between 2 to 7 days prior to departure will be refunded 50% of the tour cost. Cancellation notified 48 hours or less, prior to departure will not be eligible for a refund.

Please check your details carefully before completing your booking. Tours dates may be amended if notice is provided in advance (subject to availability).

7. SMOKING

Smoking is not permitted on any of our private tours. If you would like to stop at any of the service stations during the tour please ask the driver/guide and we will stop at the next available welcome break.

8. CHILDREN

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.  For safety reasons, we cannot accept more than 3 children for each adult booking. The minimum age for children travelling with Tailored Tours is 3 years old unless previously arranged.  If your child is below this age, please notify us in advance so that we can fit a baby seat for safety.

Please note: all of our seats are equipped with Isofix connectors.

9. CONVENIENT RETURNS

Your driver has to work under strict legal and time restrictions set by the governing board TFL (Transport For London).  Therefore, whilst we can create a bespoke tour in terms of destinations visited, there will be a pre-arranged return time agreed before your tour departs.

10. TOUR ROUTE

Tailored Tours reserves the right to deviate from the arranged route of a tour in the event of unforeseen circumstances, or where reasonably prudent to do so in the light of circumstances beyond our control. Every effort, however, will be made to visit the prearranged sites as agreed before departure.

11. ACCIDENT OR LOSS

Please take care of all personal property. Tailored Tours will not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to negligence by the Company, in which case our liability is limited (except for death or personal injury) for damages to a maximum of the refund of the tour price.

12. INSURANCE

You are advised to take out insurance to cover you in the event that you have to cancel your booking or require compensation for delays and/or damage to your property.

13. FORCE MAJEURE

Where the whole tour is cancelled before departure because of unusual or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, then we will refund all money already paid by you but you will not be entitled to any compensation for the loss of the tour.  If any incident should happen on/during the tour, Tailored Tours cannot be held responsible for any change in itinerary or closed entry to attractions. 

14. BEHAVIOUR

You will be responsible for the conduct of yourself and you will indemnify us against any liability for damage caused by you or any members of your party. We reserve the right to terminate the tour in the event of behaviour deemed to be unreasonable by our staff. Also the driver may at their discretion require any person to alight from a tour if behaving in such a way as to constitute a risk to his/her safety or to the safety of other passengers, and we shall have no further liability.

15. COMPLAINTS

Should you have a complaint during or after your tour with Tailored Tours, contact us and we will do our best to rectify your problem. If we cannot resolve your complaint at the time please email us at [email protected] and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Please leave all the necessary contact details along with your booking reference for our records.
